The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing and accurately coding and abstracting for hospital services.
The Medical Coder utilizes appropriate coding guidelines to assign ICD-10 and CPT codes. Works to ensure accurate DRG assignment.
The Medical Coder conforms to applicable Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payor guidelines, to ensure receipt of accurate reimbursement.
We are seeking someone that has a minimum of 1-year experience as a medical coder with outpatient and inpatient experience
